Orientation held for DEOs/SDEOs

With the objective of sustaining ownership within the school education system stakeholders, a one-day capacity building for the District Education Officials was held at the Morung Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima on May 7.

The officials were orientated about the Performance Incentive Grants (PIG) and its monitoring checklist, role of the community, responsibilities as District and Block Education Managers, annual grant monitoring and the Teachers Attendance Monitoring System (TAMS) SMILE App among others.
