PIG Diaries: GHS Kikruma

In an effort to increase student enrollment, GHS Kikruma in Phek District utilised the 3rd instalment of the Performance Incentive Grants (PIG) to transform an unused classroom into a Children’s Recreational Park. The school also enhanced the Pre-Primary Classroom with the goal of attracting children to join the school.

Moreover, the School Management and Development Committee (SMDC), Parents Teachers Association (PTA), teachers, non-teaching staff, and even the students all pitched in with voluntary labour after school hours.

The teachers further contributed monetarily to overcome the funding shortfall, enabling the completion of the works.
