Creating Safe and Child‑Friendly Schools
On *3rd September 2026* , Lighthouse School Complex (LSC) Mon, Nagaland, organised a *Sensitisation Programme on School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV)* at Angjangyang,for students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
*Ms. Ngepkhao, Project Coordinator, Child Helpline (CHL) Mon* , served as the Resource Person for the sensitisation session on SRGBV. She briefly highlighted key areas related to *Child Rights, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, and Child Helpline 1098* . The session aimed to create awareness and promote a safe, respectful, and child-friendly school environment.
The programme was attended by *more than 100 participants* , including students, teachers and non-teaching staff from Hub and Spoke Schools.
