Strengthening Community Engagement in LSCs
As part of the School Transformation Programme, the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) is being rolled out across Lighthouse School Complexes (LSCs), guided by the Optimal Community Engagement Model (OCEM), which comprises three stages: Inform, Consult, and Partner.
To institutionalise and strengthen community engagement, each LSC has a designated SEP Coordinator who will serve as the vital link between the school, the LSC Management Committee (LSC-MC), and the wider community.
In line with this initiative, a training programme for SEP Coordinators was conducted at DoSE on 25 August. The training covered a wide range of topics, including stakeholder mapping, programme leadership, contribution management, documentation, and other key aspects of effective stakeholder engagement.
