The introduction of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

As part of the NECTAR Project, the introduction of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) aims to transform teaching and learning practices, enhance teaching effectiveness, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional development among educators.

Aligned with this initiative, the fourth round of in-person Subject-based Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) commenced on 16 October and will conclude on 6 November. Subject Presidents and Mentors from across the state are participating in the training across various locations.

Through the PLC training, the teachers will enhance their digital literacy, explore new teaching methods, and promote inclusivity in their classrooms.
