Professional Learning Communities (PLC): GHSS Shamator

With the notion that reading and writing are two essential aspects of language education, Sir Lakiumong Yimchunger, President of English PLC from GHSS Shamator, conducted an exercise, where the students of Class 12 were tasked to select a book from the school library, read and write a summary.

Sir Lakiumong asserts, “Memorising questions and answers for examination is important but what is more important and beneficial is cultivating the seed of reading. It can be done through an enjoyable selection and appreciation of the text”.
