Hon’ble Governor Reviews NECTAR and Education Reforms
Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland, Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, chaired a review meeting on the progress of the School Education Department at Naga Bhavan Conference Hall, Lok Bhavan, Kohima on 18 May 2026.
The meeting reviewed key education initiatives, governance reforms, teacher capacity building, and progress under the Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR) aimed at improving learning outcomes and strengthening the state’s school education system.
The Hon’ble Governor emphasized the importance of effective implementation of programmes and continued efforts to ensure quality, inclusive education for students across Nagaland.
