The School Transformation Team conducted recce visit from 19 to 21 May

The NECTAR Project aims to implement the School Transformation Strategy, which involves a comprehensive analysis and review of existing systems, with a focus on governance, community participation, and the utilisation and sharing of resources, among other stakeholder interventions, across all 16 Lighthouse School Complexes (LSCs).

In line with this objective, the School Transformation Team conducted recce visit from 19 to 21 May, covering LSC GHSS Tseminyu, LSC N.I Jamir GHSS in Mokokchung District, and their respective spoke schools.

During the visit, the team engaged with SMCs/SMDCs, school heads, teachers, students, parents and other stakeholders to assess and identify priority areas for targeted interventions. The findings from this study will enable the team to develop a comprehensive tool to address gaps in the current education system.

The NECTAR Environment and Social Team also accompanied and visited the two LSCs to check for environmental compliance and maintenance of social standards during the construction of the LSCs.
