PIG Diaries: GPS Fakim

Under Category A of the Performance Incentive Grants (PIG), schools are required to organise enrolment drives, conduct student home visits, and engage with the community to enhance their capacity and ownership in government schools.

In pursuit of their PIG objectives and seeking broader outreach, GPS Fakim in Kiphire District conducted their enrolment drive following the Sunday Service and also visited students’ homes. As a result, there has been an increase in student enrollment this academic year.

Furthermore, the school revamped its learning environment with a fresh coat of paint.
