Utilising the Performance Incentive Grants (PIG), GHS Japan Riba in Phek District is improving its learning environment, one instalment at a time. The school replaced the roof utilising the 2nd instalment and made it safe and secure by constructing a half wall with wire net fencing on the corridor with the 3rd instalment of PIG.
Er. Alok Suman, Civil Engineering Consultant from the World Bank, is currently on a technical visit to review the progress of the Lighthouse School Complexes. GMS Naga New Model Ao in Dimapur didnt have an Auditorium and has come up with an innovative and creative idea of making foldable wall partitions in 5 adjoining classrooms using their second PIG instalment. The classrooms are now used as a hall to conduct meetings and other programmes whenever required.
