One-day block-level community mobilisation and sensitisation programme for School Management Committees (SMCs) and School Management and Development Committees (SMDCs)

A one-day block-level community mobilisation and sensitisation programme for School Management Committees (SMCs) and School Management and Development Committees (SMDCs) was held across several EBRC blocks in Phek, Zunheboto, and Kohima districts on 17 March.

This convergence programme, jointly organised by the Directorate of School Education (DoSE), Samagra Shiksha, and the NECTAR Project, aims to strengthen the understanding of SMCs and SMDCs regarding their roles, responsibilities, and also inform them about the various initiatives under Samagra Shiksha and NECTAR.

The training programme will be conducted across all 46 EBRC blocks in the state over the next two weeks and will conclude on 28 March.
