Teach Tool: With the completion of the Teach Tool Level-1, Level-2 trainings and baseline classroom observations, a workshop on Teach baseline data analysis for the Nagaland Core Team was held on January 25 at Morung Hall, Directorate of School Education. Officials from the Directorate, NBSE, SCERT, Samagra Shiksha and NECTAR attended the workshop.
GMS Naga New Model Ao in Dimapur didnt have an Auditorium and has come up with an innovative and creative idea of making foldable wall partitions in 5 adjoining classrooms using their second PIG instalment. The classrooms are now used as a hall to conduct meetings and other programmes whenever required.
PIG Diaries: As part of their Category D activity under the Performance Incentive Grants (PIG), GMS Vidima in Chümoukedima District organised a free medical camp for the students in collaboration with SBI Sanjeevani and AIDA Don Bosco. Around 50 students benefitted from the medical camp.
GHS Kigwema: Students were skilled on pickle making as part of Entrepreneurship and Financial Management organised under NECTAR PIG. The training was imparted by a member of the community. The school uses the Packaged Pickles as gifts to officials and well wishers who visit the school.
Utilising the 4th instalment of the Performance Incentive Grants (PIG), GPS Airfield in Wokha District revamped their school exterior with a fresh coat of paint, making the learning environment more vibrant and appealing.
