·  Knowledge of the education sector and experience of working in politically demanding setups highly desirable

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in environment management

·  Strong background in environment management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of civil construction sites is essential.

·  Exposure to Sustainable Building Design, Safe School and Green School Concepts will be of added advantage.

·  Skills to manage and engage with diverse stakeholders, including Govt. Officials, Community Leaders etc.

·  Working knowledge of Government and World Bank procurement guidelines and procedures is highly desirable and preferred

·  Experience in handling civil works related procurement activities is highly desirable and preferred

·  Working experience in an international development organization project in Nagaland or within the Northeastern Region

·  Working knowledge of e-tendering systems is highly desirable
