Hon’ble CM lays Foundation Stone for 9 LSCs
The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, virtually laid the foundation stone for nine Lighthouse School Complexes (LSCs) — GHSS Medziphema Town, Chümoukedima District; GHSS Phek Town, Phek District; GHS Sitimi Town, Kiphire District; GHSS Satakha, Zunheboto District; GHS Chessore, Shamator District; GHS Noklak Village, Noklak District; Bautung GHSS Longleng, Longleng District; N.I.Jamir GHSS, Mokokchung District; GHSS Dimapur, Dimapur District — on June 4.
Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Hon’ble Advisor for School Education & SCERT, Chief Secretary Dr. J. Alam, Commissioner and Secretary, Principal Director, and other officials from the Department of School Education and sister departments attended the programme.
The LSC schools also joined the programme via video conference from their respective locations.
Earlier, in December 2024, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for the first seven LSCs.
