Professional Learning Communities (PLC): GHSS Chozuba

Professional Learning Communities (PLC): As part of his teaching plan post the in-person PLC training, Shekuto Rakho, PLC President, Secondary Stage (SS/EVS/History) from GHSS Chozuba assigned a project to his students to make a map of India with clay and mark where the revolt of 1857, also known as the first war of independence, took place.

Students were divided into groups of two/three for the project, which aimed to take theory lessons and turn it into a hands-on learning process while fostering collaboration and team spirit.

The PLC training programme aims to equip educators with improved practices such as student-centred and activity-based pedagogy in classrooms.
