Performance Incentive Grants (PIG)

The Performance Incentive Grants (PIG), under the NECTAR Project, is being implemented effectively in a transparent and fair manner, thanks to the support of the Area Administrative Officers, who serve as external assessors and have the final authority in recommending schools for the next instalment.

Despite the challenges of navigating unpaved backroads, crossing rivers, and overcoming various obstacles, they remain steadfast in their responsibilities—visiting schools, monitoring PIG activities and certifying them.

Seen in the video is a glimpse of the officers trudging on to complete their PIG assessment despite the challenges.
