Professional Learning Communities (PLC): GMS Kukegwo

Gaining new insights on pedagogical strategies during the PLC trainings, Sir Lusi Fithu, Mentor English, GMS Kukegwo in Phek District, conducted an ancestral knowledge sharing session for the students as part of community involvement in the teaching-learning process.

The womenfolk of the village shared about the history of their village, educated the students on their folklore and also taught them folksongs.

The trained teachers of the Subject-based PLC have been actively implementing their lessons with improved practices in the form of student-centered and activity-based pedagogy in classrooms.
